Beginner’s Pottery Throwing Workshop

A focused full-day workshop designed for beginners who have had a little experience on the wheel and want to strengthen their foundations.

 

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm (with a lunch break — please bring a packed lunch)

Cost: £100 per person

Class size: 3

 

The day will focus on throwing cylinders, bowls, and other simple forms, helping participants build confidence, control, and consistency.

 

All materials are provided. Greenware can be taken home on the day, or pieces can be bisque fired and glazed for a small additional fee*. Tea and biscuits are included :)

Where?

 

All classes happen at my studio in Wilderness Wood, in Hadlow Down.

The studio is indoors and warm throughout the year.

Who can attend?​

​​​

Whilst anybody can attend, I recommend children to be over the age of 10 due to the length of the day.

*If you would like to keep anything you make, I charge a small fee of £5 per piece to bisque fire it, or £10 to bisque and glaze. If you book onto a course, or multiple classes, you will get to fire a certain number of pieces for free before these fees apply.​​​
